George Orwell, step aside; we have, at our side, one whose best interests are our interests.

Call HIM what you will, HE/SHE/IT, our BIG BROTHER is one in whom we are HIS only focus and concern; one who has pioneered the WAY, mapped out the terrain, and is able to guide us HOME.

There has been great confusion as to the identity of our BIG BROTHER, many names given, conflicting descriptions argued over, but one thing is certain, HE is kin to all, and the ONE in whom our trust is safely given.

The ‘big’ in brother has to do with one who remembered HIS/OUR roots, the HOME from which we came, and the one who is directing our return.  We are constantly being reminded by HIM that we are no different than HE in our makeup or status.  We have merely forgotten our lineage, which HE is determined to remind us of.

As much as we cling to limitation, HE insists we are UNLIMITED.  The guilt we often bear, HE suggests we let go, because of our INNOCENCE.  While we focus on our imperfections, HE points out our PERFECTION.  HIS LOVE is boundless, HIS patience unending, and HE rarely holds back a smile when we insist our drama is real.

HE is the perfect party planner, who dispenses invitations and directions constantly.  HIS gentle nudges and soft whispers continually beckon us to join HIM at the barbeque of our FATHER.

Big brother indeed.
