What have we done?

Nothing really, but it sure looks like something.

One thing is certain; we did not create ourselves--our REAL self.

But, one thing we have created is a caricature of our REAL self.

We have all come up with the most creative Halloween costumes imaginable, time and again.  Our fictitious characters, covering every genre, have played out various story-lines, interacting and exchanging scenarios, until we are blue-in-the-face.

So, what have we done?  Essentially, nothing permanent.

All our little dream-lives have done nothing to affect our REAL life, only delay our awareness that none of them represent our REAL life.  It’s a good thing, too, because we would have made a bad mess of a good situation.

This all goes back to the most fundamental Law of REALITY--cause & effect.  GOD created us; we did not create HIM/HER/IT, or us.  And, what GOD creates is PERFECT, and, most importantly, IMMUTABLE--changeless.

So, no matter what little dream-life we have cooked up for ourselves, our little prodigal misadventure will always land us back HOME, and, that’s very good news indeed.

Plus, back HOME, the question will never be asked, “What have you done?”
