PLAYING WELL WITH OTHERS

AT
play in the fields of the LORD
has real meaning
when you are frolicking
in HIS backyard

It almost sounds like a childhood psychological evaluation, but, it is actually a dynamic that follows us through life.

How well do we play with others?  First, by not caring about whether or not we even care about what they are playing, and, more importantly, how they are playing it.  Whether we are interested in it at all is a mute point.

This may sound confusing, but follow closely.  You may run across someone who is a passionate accordion player.  You may not give a flip about the accordion, or any sound coming out of one.  You have multiple response options.

You could:

make fun of the instrument
make fun of anyone who would choose to play one
make fun of the type of music created by one
or, identify with the passion of the player, and have an entirely new experience of ONENESS,
instead of all the previous examples of separation

That is playing well with others.

This may sound elementary, but it has broad applications.  If you observe all the times which you choose to retain your separateness, instead of choosing to identify in ONENESS, you will begin to observe all the levels of not playing well with others that have been a great disservice by not allowing the increase and expansion of your experience outside the artificial walls you have built around yourself.

When you look for the “door” of ONENESS in each encounter, you will find the key to UNLIMITED experiences, and the secret of playing well with others.
