ROUND & ROUND
One would think there might be something new in the news, but alas, it’s the endless repetition of the same cycles, a close cousin to the insanity defense, where we never get anywhere because of continually going around the same mountain. It’s the same news, only a different day/week/month/year. Now, it’s only more in our face.
History merely tells us that nothing is learned from history. The cycles of repetition have varied only by time, individual, culture, or country.
Closer to home, we might also observe these cyclical patterns playing out in our personal lives, creating the impression that there is no way out of the prisons of our making. Our recidivism rate is embarrassing.
But one thing is certain: if we never change our mind, our mind will never change, and neither will anything else.
The world/universe has operated out of the same mindset “forever”, hence, the lack of substantive change anywhere. No matter what technological advancements may be highlighted, the software pushing the buttons (or activating the voice) remains the same.
The world will never change it’s mind, so we might as well stop waiting for a day that will never come. The only way off the merry-go-round is for us to have a mindshift away that which is not LOVE, to that which is.
That comes as the result of a change of mind.
