THE GREAT FRONTIER

THE
journey HOME
covers a lot of ground

all
of it
within

We are talking about the journey from feeling limited to BEING UNLIMITED; a realm without parameters, definitions or boundaries.  It is the MIND of GOD, and all things that ARE.  It is a landscape with no waypoints other than the path of PEACE.

Space exploration is usually touted as the last great frontier.  Unfortunately, the current state of technology will not allow any of us to go gallivanting around the cosmos any time soon.  In any event, nobody has really dialed in any destination within reasonable distance that is too friendly anyway, so we are not really missing out on all that much, except to dream about the beautiful pics from the Hubble telescope.

The REAL last frontier is our own UNLIMITED BEING, which will require no NASA program or funding from Congress.  It can be conducted any time, any place, at no cost, except, the choice to do so.

The unknown part of the exploration lies beyond the framework of all our self-imposed limitations; those we have accepted from without, and those we have constructed within.  It is the born-again reference made regarding not being able to see it unless you experience it.

The unknown aspects of the universe portend many threats to our survival far exceeding the danger that the neighborhood around the corner may harbor, but the unknown aspects of our UNLIMITED BEING are all friendly.  Here lies a terrain that beckons us from the fear of our own neighborhood, and the self-subscribed limits of our familiarity.

This journey is undertaken by not gearing-up, but by gearing down.  Provisioning for this exploration is counter-intuitive to all other ventures.  It does not involve holding tight for the ride, but by letting go into the flow.  It involves an implicit trust that you are in the good hands that you ARE.  Ground is actually covered by not striving at all.

It is all uncharted terrain.  The feel involves walking paths slowly, then quickly, some up and some down, with both hills and valleys.  At times it is conducted solo; other times with others.  Sometimes you have clear vistas ahead; other times visibility is obscured.  The less burdened you travel, the more ground you seem to cover.  There are times you feel like you have lived three days in one.

The great thing about this frontier is that it is all good, and, it keeps getting better.  Even though you may find yourself in a cul-de-sac on occasion, you always find your way out, and off in a new direction.  The more you let go, the more exciting it gets.

Go light, go far, and go now.
