EVER SO GENTLY
WE
are being lead
out of a world
where there is no GOD
and into a world
where there is only GOD
Being adept at projecting and expecting certain
outcomes in the moment, we oftentimes run smack dab into REALITY--what the
moment actually allows. When the moment refuses our advances, we bristle
under the results. What we fail to realize is that the moment actually
has our best interests in mind, and is ever so gently leading us forward for
our own good.
Our TRUE SELF, the one created by GOD, has a job
description--to lead who we think we are back to who we REALLY ARE. This
is a full-time job. But, in the light of what we have made of/for
ourselves, it must be undertaken ever so gently.
We are so fully invested in our dream life, that
the AWAKENING process must be conducted very carefully. When we observe
someone who is having a disturbing nightmare, that last thing they need is to
be violently shaken and shouted at to wake up. That only increases the
degree of their nightmare. There is nothing about GOD that desires to
increase our nightmare, or to present HIMSELF as being in-our-face. Everything
is always conducted ever so gently.
If we review the many steps our lives have
taken, however divergent that might appear, and compare that with what we
thought should/could/or might have happened, we will probably see a pattern
that has lead us forward ever so gently. This even includes events that
some would consider tragic.
Tragic events, however difficult, open up
unforeseen opportunities that would have otherwise not been available.
They are always viewed as tragic in comparison with worldly-expectations
of accomplishments and success. But, many have come to the conclusion
that the world’s viewpoint on these things is heavily skewed to the delusional.
We would do well to view the gentle leading and
prodding that is oftentimes hardly noticeable as a sign that we are and have
always been in good hands. Our TRUE SELF, who is always in possession of
the big picture, views all the steps that lie before us, and directs our
forward motion ever so gently.
